Surgery Update

Samantha had her second eye surgery on Friday. She had a surgery called Dacryoplasty. The first surgery was a failed tear duct probe procedure. She had to go under general anesthesia again along with an IV placement and breathing tube. Krista went back with her while they put her to sleep. Samantha fought every bit of it this time. Krista doesn't wish this upon any parent. What a tough thing to watch your child go through. She also had a tougher time waking up. After an almost 3 hour mid-day nap, she was pretty much back to her old self. As of today (3 1/2 days later) her eye is still draining. We are hoping this will clear up in the next day or so. If not, back to the eye doctor. Please keep your fingers crossed for Miss Samantha!
