Visit to Great Grandma Irma's home



Mommy and I went to go see Great Grandma Irma yesterday. She was very excited to see me. She couldn't believe how fast I was growing! I get lots of attention there from all of her roomates and nurses. I got to show her how well I can walk. She also sang to me and then I showed her some of my dance moves too!

Eye surgery update

Samantha's second eye surgery is scheduled for July 22nd. We were really hoping her eye would clear up, but even with eye massages and drops every day her eye is continuing to leak. She is also starting to get yellow goop again. It's so frustrating! (Luckily, she does not seem to mind)

Eye surgery

Well, Samantha had her eye surgery last Friday and everything went smoothly. Krista got to go back with her while they put her under. That was tough for her, but the surgery only took 5 minutes. The doctor said there was a membrane blocking the tear duct. Samantha recovered very quickly and was back to playing and eating in no time. She is supposed to be on eye drops until her follow up appointment on June 16th. She gets those 4 times a day and hates it! Her eye is still leaking, but we hope this stops soon.

Last weekend Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Linda drove up from Milwaukee to visit me!



We took a trip to Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis and ate at a really yummy BBQ restaurant.
